| Fasting Journal - Day 2 of Juice Fast
Woke up at 7am took 2 tablespoons of laxatives. Used the restroom a lot for the next 6 hours. Actually, it hasn't stopped all day and night.
Breakfast: Tea
Snacks: 2 bottles of water
Lunch: Fruit juice - 1 bottle of Naked brand juice.
6:30pm - went for 2 mile walk.
Dinner: veggie broth and 2 more bottles of water.
After dinner snack: Detox tea - 1 cup.
Notes: Other than the constant restroom use, I feel okay. A little hungry at 5pm when work was ending. Other than that no real problems.
Aye - when I went home - I was STARVING. So many temptations are not good. I would suggest before fasting
emptying your fridge and cabinets and def don't go near any restaurants.
We are morons and went grocery shopping then decided to fast. Also doing 30 days no alcohol. Get healthy liver! Me love you. Sorry for the abuse!
After eating the veggie broth I felt less hungry. I chugged a bottle of water then drank some tea. My belly was still rumbling. Ahh the cravings were so bad!
I wasn't necessarily hungry ... well maybe a little. But mostly, I just had cravings. Peanut M&Ms, potato soup, Thai Island's (my favorite Thai restaurant) eggplant panang, bread, cheese, milk, cookies, ice cream. It was a little disturbing how bad I had the cravings.
I think watching TV made it worse as well. These are my comfort items and when I watch TV I like to eat. This gives me temporary happiness. So, tonight I might try to not watch TV. See how that goes.
It's also been rough on me to drink this tea. I wasn't a tea fan before doing this fast so that isn't helping. The lemon balm tea isn't bad, but the ginger one was really spicy and I'm not a huge fan of the detox one either.
Maybe drinking water with lemon in it might be a better alternative for me.
