Fasting Journal - Day 8 of Juice Fast

Today I woke up and went with to my boyfriend's soccer game. I weigh 95lbs (I'm a petite 5'2") so I lost 7lbs total and feel awesome.

No gut whatsoever anymore and still managed to keep my boobs (haha)! I am a little tired but feeling good.

I didn't sleep much last night because I just had so much energy. It was tough to sleep.

Then I went go grocery shopping for when we break the fast. Another bad idea! Testing my willpower.

Got a little frustrated because I wanted to eat. I got supplies for the week of eating fruit and raw veggies and nuts.

Bought almonds, cantaloupe, apples, pineapples, figs, grapes and tons of veggies, avocados etc. You can see why I was tempted! Also bought some veggie burgers. Excited to try those out.

Tonight we had an apple and two handfuls of plain unsalted unbuttered popcorn.

Next time I'd probably skip the popcorn and just break the fast with an apple. It was incredible how juicy and flavorful the apple was. Also how 1 apple filled me up. I could only eat half and was stuffed!

I went to the movies and smelled popcorn and the people in front of us brought in Hooters chicken wings which was
hilarious. I was a little tempted to eat but not too bad.

This would have killed me in the beginning of fast so in the beginning it's best to avoid temptations and these sorts of situations.
