Born to Run - Book Review

Born to run is not just a book about running. It touches on evolution, history, barefoot running, stars in the racing world, ultra marathoners and of a loner who lives in the mountains.

The book also focuses on a tribe of super running atletes called the Taramuhara. They run ultramarathons for fun and always have a smile on their faces.

I got a lot of motivation from this book to run and try to have fun with it. I also want to start running trails as a result of reading Born to Run.

I promise, you will be in awe of the crazy characters in this book and the amazing feets they acoomplish even while downing Cokes during the race. This book shows you that running is all mental and once you conquer that, there is no stopping you.

In essence, Born to Run is about a band of societal misfits who just love to run. They have a pure passion for the sport and are incredible athelets without all the fancy power bars, shoes, clothing and equipment.

I recommend Born to Run to runners of all levels. And even to non-runners, because it's a really fun story that could ignite your passion for running.
