Is Running The Key To Preventing Diseases?

There have been some research results published that suggest our new, much more sedentary lifestyle might be bringing on things like heart disease and other major illnesses.

Our bodies were made for running, but our minds were made to search for efficiency to conserve the most amount of energy. And once we made everything as efficient as it could be, we no longer needed to use our bodies as much therefore saving a lot of calories.

Unfortunately, we've continued to eat as if we still need the calories, which is making us one big fat nation. So, try to convince your mind that it is okay to run and that you can do it.

Go ahead, lace up those running shoes (or go barefoot if you prefer) and run like you did when you were a kid! It's instinctual and suppose to be fun!! And who knows, it might just prevent you from having a heart attack.
