Getting Tired of Running? Having Trouble Finding Your Motivation?

You should try entering a race like a 5K then push yourself to do a 10K then 15K and eventually a marathon. And if you're really crazy, you can do an ultramarathon.

My point being ...

When you workout with no real goal in mind, it becomes difficult to keep motivated. That's why I signed up for my first 5K in a few months. I needed that push to keep me motivated and on my training plan. If I didn't have this race date looming in the near future, my couch would start to look mighty comfy and I would slowly stop running all together.

Having a weight loss goal is also good, but what happens when you reach your ideal weight? You can't stop or you'll gain it back. So try entering contests and competitons. It's good motivation and makes for a really fun workout day.
